The opposition party PTI is preparing for a long march to topple the current government. While on the other hand, PML (Q) announces its support for the federal government in the current situation.
PML (Q) is divided into two groups, one group is supporting the federal government lead by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. The other group is an ally of PTI lead by Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
A meeting holds between PM Shahbaz Sharif and Shujaat Hussain at the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat. In this meeting he assures support to the government.
After the meeting, the official press release by the Prime Minister’s House. Which states that the leaders of the PML (Q) express their support to the government in difficult circumstances.
Shahbaz Sharif along with other leaders reaches the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
In the meeting, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Prime Minister of Law Nazir Tarar, Muslim League (Q) National Food Security Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s son and Chaudhry Salik Hussain and other leaders were present.
In the meeting, both sides review the current political situation. And agree that all coalition parties in the government will work together for the betterment of the people.
On the other hand, PTI Chairman Imran Khan addresses a public meeting on October 10. He announces that he would soon announce the date of the general elections and the long march towards Islamabad to topple the current government.
Since April this year, Imran Khan has announced in many meetings across the country that the political movement to topple the current government has entered its final stages.
However, the current government warns, if Imran Khan enters Islamabad for a long march, law and order will damage.
Apart from this, according to media reports, the federal government wants that the grip of the government may weaken due to the absence of the government of its allies in Punjab. So the federal government is busy trying to remove Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
