Actress Sonya Hussain accuses the producer of her upcoming film ‘Tich Button‘ not paying compensation for the film. She send her a notice of Rs. 5 million damages.
In the notice of damages, Sonya Hussain stats that there is an agreement between Urwa Hocane and her that the compensation will pay as soon as the shooting overs.
The notice states that Sonya Hussain completes shooting for the film between February and June 2020 but was not paid.
In the notice to Urwa, it is claims that Sonya repeatedly reminds the producer to get her compensation and kept asking for money. But she does not even give a proper reply.
The notice further states that after a long delay, Urwa Hussain send a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh to the actress in the middle of this year. Which is a part of the compensation, so the actress returned the check to the producer. Therefore, Sonya Hussain has to suffer because of her behavior. She becomes emotionally vulnerable and she is embarrass to ask for her own money. So now the producer is seeking damages against the actress should pay Rs. 50.
According to the notice, Urwa Hussain should respond to Sonia Hussain’s legal notice in the next 14 days, otherwise a case for damages will be filed against her in the court.
The said film is Urwa Hucane’s first film as a producer while Farhan Saeed is also the co-producer of the film.
The film is set to release in theaters on October 28th, 2022.
