The first inaugural flight of Pakistan’s cheapest airline ‘Fly Jinnah’ took off from Karachi to Islamabad.
The inauguration ceremony of Fly Jinnah take places at a local hotel in Karachi. The ceremony operates under the private sector.
After the ceremony, Flight 9P672 carrying the dignitaries takes off from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport to Islamabad at 1:11 PM.
The flight schedules at 12 noon and the inaugural flight delayed by 1 hour and 11 minutes.
Fly Jinnah uses a barely 3-year-old Airbus A320 with registration AP-BOP for its maiden flight.
The same plane will return to Karachi after the ceremony in Islamabad, taking the guest passengers back.
Fly Jinnah will operate daily direct flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.
4 flights per week will be operated between Karachi and Quetta.
Fares from Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad have been fixed at Rs 13,999.
Passengers will be allowed to carry 10 kg hand luggage. Free in-flight entertainment facilities will be provided to the passengers on Fly Jinnah flights.
