Apart from this, for the first time in the history of Test cricket, the openers of the two teams also scored an opening partnership of more than 200 runs.
In the first innings of the Rawalpindi Test, Zac Crowley and Ben Dickett give an opening stand of 233 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq and Imam-ul-Haq also created the record of establishing the biggest opening partnership.
Abdullah Shafiq and Imam-ul-Haq made an opening partnership of 225 runs in the first innings against England.

Earlier in 1984, Mohsin Hasan and Shoaib Muhammad had given an opening stand of 173 runs against England.
On the first day of the first match of the 3-match Test series against Pakistan, England scored 506 runs for the loss of only 4 wickets.
On the second day of the Pindi Test, Pakistan scored 181 runs without loss in response to England’s 657 runs.
The national team scored 499 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of the third day.
