US State Department spokesperson Ned Price says that Pakistan has right to defend against terrorism. Pakistani people suffered severe losses from terrorist attacks.
During a press briefing in Washington, he says that the Taliban should asked to fulfill their promises, that Afghan soil should not used as a launching pad for terrorism.
Ned Price says that they are examining what steps we can take against the Taliban’s decisions.
He warns that he has already says that United States will show reaction.
“The Pakistani people have suffered tremendously from terrorist attacks. Pakistan has right to defend against terrorism.”
The spokesman says that we are aware of the recent statement of the Pakistani National Security Committee.

He said that the people of Pakistan have suffered enormous losses from terrorist attacks. “We urge the Taliban to maintain the commitment they have maintained to never again use Afghan soil as a launch pad for international terrorist attacks,” he said.
These are among the promises that the Taliban have so far failed to fulfill or are unwilling to fulfill.
The US statement came after Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah threatened to target Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants in Afghanistan if Kabul did not take action to eliminate them.
