Pakistan Muslim League (N) has decided to take action against former finance minister Miftah Ismail. While Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s reservations will removed.
According to the sources, action taken against Miftah Ismail for taking a ‘clear line’ against the party and a notice will be send in the coming days.
It has further stated that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s complaint is valid and his concerns will addressed.
Sources informs that Miftah Ismail is believe to be under the influence of former Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa. They claims that Miftah Ismail made the Finance Minister in 2017 for the same reason.
However, the sources also claims regarding the leadership of Muslim League (N) that the complaints of former prime minister and party leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will redressed as ‘legitimate’.

ARY News reports on Tuesday that in early December, Miftah Ismail had asserted that Pakistan’s risk of default had increased. And urges the government to take steps to avert the escalating risk. While giving an interview to a private news channel, Miftah says that during his tenure as finance minister, he took difficult decisions on the assurance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The PML-N leader further claims that unless the International Monetary Fund (IMF) comes to the table, Pakistan’s risk of default will not reduced.
“The IMF is the lender of last resort and when it comes on board, other lenders like the World Bank (WB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) agree to provide loans,” Miftah notes.
