The Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered to adopt Urdu as an official language in government institutes.
As per facts, Justice Raza Qureshi heard the appeal filed to adopt Urdu as an official language in government institutes.
The court focused the government to implement the court orders in one month. Although the strict orders from the Supreme Court, Urdu not adopted as a national language.
The government should submit the statement deputy registrar’s office later the implementation of the court orders and disapproval of court can continue if the court orders not implemented.
The request filed in Lahore High Court stated that the Supreme Court ordered to implement Urdu as an official language in all government institutes but the SC orders not executed.
Previously in 2021, the Supreme Court (SC) criticized the federal government for failing to implement Urdu as the official language regardless of the passage of six years.

The comments passed by a three-member SC bench controlled by the then Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Atta Bandial, hearing a contempt case in contradiction of the federal government for failing to implement Urdu as the official language.
