The Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted bail to Sheikh Rasheed. Who is the Awami Muslim League (AML) chief in a case pertaining to murder plot allegations against former president Asif Ali Zardari.
The court pronounced the verdict on the bail application reserved some time ago.
The Islamabad High Court also ordered the release of Sheikh Rasheed on a surety bond of Rs 50,000.
Earlier during the hearing Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja, Advocate General Islamabad Jahangir Khan Jadoon and SHO Abpara also appeared in the court.
Salman Akram Raja came to the rostrum and said that the bail is a post-arrest application, the Additional Sessions Judge dismissed the bail on one charge.

Salman Akram Raja says that the statement shown on the news channel, on the basis of which the case registered. Sheikh Rasheed is currently in jail on judicial remand. The reasons for the rejection of bail have written among the reasons it is said that the bail was granted. So they can come out and make such a statement again.

Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyer says that yes, he gave a statement which aired on news channels. However, there is nothing in the evidence that the statement led to a clash between PTI and PPP.
With this, the arguments of Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja were completed, after which Advocate General Islamabad Jahangir Jadoon started the arguments and said that Sheikh Rasheed is a senior politician, his conversation should be parliamentary, those who are in the government are Tomorrow will be in the opposition.
