Renowned Indian writer, sceno-grapher and poet Javed Akhtar will come Pakistan to attend Faiz Festival.
The 7th edition of Faiz Festival is going to held in Lahore from 17th to 19th February. On the first day of which a regular opening ceremony will held after Friday prayers.
The festival will feature more than 60 free literary, music and art events. Which includes debates, lectures, theater, dance performances, and qawwali.
Besides, the festival will also host foreign delegations from UK, Canada, USA and India.
According to media reports, this year a large delegation from India will participate in the Faiz festival under the leadership of renowned poet Javed Akhtar.

Javed Akhtar will participate in the launch of one of his new books in this festival.
Muniba Hashmi said that the objective of the festival is to balance quality and relevance according to the current situation. She is the daughter of late poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz and organizer of the festival.
After facing criticism over the ticket prices to attend the festival, organizers have decided to make all events completely free for the general public to attend.
To organize the 7th edition of Faiz Festival, Alhamra Hall including Canal Road and all the adjacent roads are getting prepare for the three-day festival.
It is worth mentioning here that all the events in the festival will be free except Shafqat Amanat Ali’s concert. Which will priced at Rs 3000 per ticket.
