Request submitted to increase electricity price by Rs1.7

The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has submitted a request to increase the electricity by price Rs 1.7 paisa per unit.

CPPA submitted January fuel adjustment request to NEPRA.

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) says the CPPA application will be heard on February 28.

NEPRA says the decision on the CPPA application will not apply to electric consumers.
