Imran Khan left for Islamabad to appear in 4 cases

Chairman PTI Imran Khan left for Islamabad from Zaman Park Lahore to appear in 4 cases.

Imran Khan is appearing in Islamabad courts today in 4 cases.

He appeared before the Banking Court in the case registered under the Foreign Funding Act, the Anti-Terrorism Court in the case of terrorism provisions, the court of the Additional Sessions Judge in the Tosha Khana criminal case and also in the Sessions Court in the case of the provisions related to attempted murder.

On Monday, a district and sessions court dismissed a petition filed by the PTI chairman, seeking judicial review of the Tosha Khana case. And the attempted murder case against him on reserved grounds. A request was made to move to the complex.

Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal rejected the request. And says that this is the first time that a court asked to change the venue for hearing a case. He remarked that the cases would not transferred and ordered Mr. Khan to appear before him on Tuesday. As he granted a one-day extension to his bail.

On the occasion of Imran Khan’s appearance, strict security arrangements made in the Federal Judicial Complex. Heavy police force deployed in and around the judicial complex.

Preparations have been completed to welcome the former prime minister in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The roads surrounding the judicial complex blocked with barbed wire while unauthorized persons prohibited from entering the judicial complex.
