Bangladesh whitewash the world champions England in the three-match T20 series.
In the last T20 match of the series, Bangladesh defeated England by 16 runs.
Chasing 159 runs in this match played in Mirpur Dhaka, the English team could score 150 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
In a major humiliation for England’s usually clinical white-ball unit ahead of the 50-over World Cup in India later this year. Bangladesh won the third and final T20 in Dhaka by 16 runs to whitewash England.
“Of course it’s disappointing to lose but congratulations to Bangladesh. They outplayed us and they deserved their win,” England captain Jos Buttler said.
“(I was) really disappointed in myself for not diving and making my ground. You know you have to be determined to make that run,” Butler said after the match.
England’s David Malan scored 53 runs and Jos Buttler scored 40 runs, but they could not lead the team to victory.

Bangladesh’s Tasin Ahmad took two wickets while Tanveer Islam, Shakib-ul-Hasan and Mustafiz-ur-Rehman took one wicket each.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 158 runs for 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In this innings, Liton Das played a remarkable innings of 73 run.
