The Pakistan Day Parade canceled

The Pakistan Day Parade canceled due to bad weather in Islamabad, the Aiwan-e-Sadar said Saturday after the event postponed to March 25 before this week.

The event delayed to March 25 due to inclement weather earlier this week.

The military parade determined each year on March 23. The event is at the centre of celebrations to mark the 1940 Lahore Resolution that called for the formation of an independent country for the Muslims of British-ruled India.

Sooner, the Pakistan Army decided to hold the annual parade of the armed forces on the Pakistan Day on a small scale, joining the government’s austerity drive that object at warding off the economic crisis.

Pakistan Army stands firmly united with the people and will continue to work for the development of the country, the sources said.

The Pakistan Day Parade canceled. In the meantime, on the 83rd Pakistan Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that “political chaos” was the main reason for the country’s economic instability.
