Imran Khan: Nation heading towards supremacy of law

Imran Khan: Nation heading towards supremacy of law. The previous premier and PTI chief said that the nation is heading towards the supremacy of law afterward the Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict in the election delay case.

While speaking at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Youm-e-Tashakur event, “We welcome the SC verdict [in the election delay case] because we are hearing towards the supremacy of law.”

He said that the philosophy of necessity adopted to break the Constitution in the past. “The judges threatened and propaganda started beside their families. The powerful persons were trying to stop the judges from backing the Constitution.”

The government bound to conduct elections 90 days later on the dissolution of the assembly in accordance with the Constitution.

Khan said that they request to conduct polls afterward the fall of the PTI government. “I repeatedly warned the rulers that economic stability cannot be established without political stability. The rulers are afraid of the elections due to fear of their defeat.”

Shehbaz Sharif also became the PM due to a Supreme Court’s order but the rulers are refusing the SC orders now.

Khan declared that the ruling parties started propaganda besides the families of the SC judges later the top court ordered them to hold elections in 90 days.SC verdict has put the country on the path of supremacy of law.

He criticized PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for giving a message about ‘martial law’. Who wants to see martial law is not loyal to the country?
