Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on 22 April

Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, 2023 after completing 30 fasts.

Secretary General Khalid Ijaz Mufti of the Sighting of the Crescent Research Council has said that there will be no sighting of the crescent on the evening of Thursday, April 20.

He said that the new moon will be born on Thursday, April 20, at 9:13 a.m. Pakistani time.

 On that day i.e. 29th of Ramadan, the age of the moon at sunset, which should be more than 19 hours for sighting, will be less than 10 hours in all areas of Pakistan.
