Simon Dole also criticized Kohli’s batting after Babar

Former New Zealand Test fast bowler and commentator Simon Dole criticized the batting of India’s star batsman Virat Kohli after the batting of Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam.

In the Indian Premier League match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Supergiants, Simon Dole expressed his displeasure over Virat Kohli’s slow batting.

During the commentary, he criticized Virat Kohli’s half-century saying that Kohli did not score runs for the team but for personal milestones.

He said that Kohli started the batting like a train, was playing very good shots but he played 10 balls to score 42 to 50 runs.

He says there is no room for milestones in the T20 format anymore. When you have wickets you have to play fast.

It should noted that earlier Simon Dole had also criticized the batting of Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam.

Criticized for Babar’s century during the Peshawar vs Quetta match in PSL 8, Simon said during the commentary that Babar Azam was slow for a personal milestone.

He had said that Babar should have focused on finding boundaries instead of reducing the run rate at the time of the century.
