New Zealand beats Pakistan by 4 runs in the third T20 match after a thrilling encounter. Pakistan has a 1-2 lead in the 5-match series.
In the third T20 match played in Lahore, New Zealand scored 163 runs in the stipulated over and gave Pakistan a target of 164 runs. But the Pakistani team all out by scoring 159 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed scored 60 runs off 24 balls with the help of 6 sixes and 3 four. While playing an aggressive innings, Faheem Ashraf scored 27 runs. Fakhar Zaman scored 17 runs and Shadab Khan scored 16 runs.
With the national team needing 15 runs off the last over, aggressive batsman Iftikhar Ahmed hit a six and a four to bring the Green Shirts close to victory but caught out on the fourth ball.
Haris Rauf, who came to bat after that, also catch out on the last ball of the match. Thus New Zealand beats Pakistan by 4 runs.
Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first. New Zealand’s innings had a disappointing start.

Daryl Mitchell became the victim of Shaheen Shah Afridi by scoring 33, while captain Tom Latham stood out by scoring 64 runs while playing a responsible innings.
