A meeting of Govt coalition parties leaders held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on negotiations with PTI.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Iftikhar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aftab Sher Pau, Khalid Magsi, Agha Hassan Baloch participated in the meeting.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Sajid Mir and Hafiz Abdul Karim were also present in the meeting.
Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb, Federal Minister of Interior Rana Sanaullah, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister of Law Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and other leaders and Attorney General also attended the meeting.
Sources say that the coalition government parties decided in the meeting that the function of the Supreme Court is to make decisions according to the constitution and the law, not to mediate, the role of mediation and the forum of discussion is Parliament.

In the meeting, the legal team was briefed on the Supreme Court’s case related to the deadline for election funds.
