Yasmin Rashid arrested from hospital. Police have arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Yasmin from the hospital, News reported.
She was still waiting for her release from Kot Lakhpat Jail has previously experienced a quick worsening in her health. The PTI leader rushed to the Services Hospital in Lahore where her treatment is ongoing.
It is related to mention here that the Lahore High Court ordered. The instant release of 17 PTI women workers, with previous Punjab health minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
LHC judge Justice Safdar Saleem Shahid stated the ruling on the petition filed beside the detention of the PTI workers and leaders.
Hearing an appeal, the court ordered her release if she not “required in any criminal case”.
The petition kept that Rashid not named in a first information report filed at the Sarwar Road police station and her arrest was “illegal”.
