Govt decreases Petrol & Diesel prices. According to News on Monday, the finance ministry announced a cut in the cost of petrol, diesel, and other petroleum products.
Ishaq Dar, the minister of finance, announced a drop in petrol prices of Rs 12 per litre, bringing the new price for the next 15 days to Rs 270 per litre.
On April 30, the federal government reduced the prices of all petroleum products. Excluding petrol, by Rs5 to 10 per litre for the next fortnight ending May 15.
Dar had publicized that the price of petrol continues unchanged at Rs282 per litre. Whereas the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) reduced by Rs5 per litre to Rs288.
Govt decreases Petrol & Diesel prices. In the meantime, the prices of light-diesel oil and kerosene decreased by Rs10 to Rs164.68 and 176.07 per litre, correspondingly.
