The NAB report presented in court makes clear that Shehbaz Sharif’s detractors could not provide evidence to support their claims in the Ashiana Housing scandal. The investigation done twice, and neither time did it turn up any proof of any wrongdoing.
Shehbaz Sharif did not receive any personal benefits from the Ashiana Housing project, according to the NAB report. The evidence put forth shows that public officials did not abuse their authority or harm the public purse by using their positions for personal gain.
