PTI rejects Jahangir Tareen’s new party

PTI rejects Jahangir Tareen’s new party. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by Imran Khan, stated on Thursday that the current crises in the nation not resolved by founding new parties with leaders who have come together as a result of “forced divorces.”

Launching new parties full of individuals who undergone forced divorces not the answer to the issues Pakistan is facing. The former ruling party declared on Twitter in response to the Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) started by estranged PTI leader Jahangir Tareen.

The PTI reiterated the necessity of new, free, and fair elections. Arguing that Pakistan’s citizens given the opportunity to select their representatives.

Today, Tareen, a former close aide to PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Who was instrumental in the PTI-led government’s formation in 2018, officially launched his political organization, the Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party.

At a press conference, Tareen made the announcement. “We are laying the foundation of a new political party — Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party,” flanked by former PTI leaders Aleem Khan, Imran Ismail, and others.

When a money laundering complaint filed against Khan during the PTI-led administration, Tareen ended their relationship.

The country needs a political leadership that can address all current issues, including social and economic ones, Tareen said. “We have gathered at one platform to make joint efforts to lift the country out of this quagmire,” he added.
