43 Loan apps blocked in Pakistan. Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunication Amin-ul-Haque said that authorities have launched crackdowns on unlawful loan applications in response to a number of scams and have blocked at least 43 applications.

Amin-ul-Haque claimed that the government launched a campaign on illegitimate loan providers as part of a decisive action to tackle fraudulent loan applications.

Amin-ul-Haque reported that 43 loan applications already denied due to the instructions. He noted that the targeted loan industry businesses registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

These dishonest organizations have turned to extortion, taking advantage of the financial weaknesses of defenseless people.

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cybercrime wing, the PTA, or local police stations are all encouraged to receive reports from the public. Regarding any suspicious loan applications or incidences involving loan mafia organizations.

The minister denounced the violence threats, extortion, and data abuse practises used by loan mafia organisations.
