Journalist Gharidah Farooqi honored with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz Award. On Pakistan’s Independence Day, the President honored 304 individuals for their outstanding accomplishments across a variety of fields, including those from Pakistan and other nations.
The Tamgha-i-Imtiaz award given to about 118 individuals, including members of the defense ministry, scientists, artists, educators, and journalists.
Amjad Aziz Malik, Gharidah Farooqui, Shama Junejo, Waqar Satti, Farooq Adil, Fahad Hussain, Saleem Bukhari, and Juggan Kazim are a few well-known figures in the media.
The awards ceremony, which scheduled for March 23, 2024, recognize notable individuals including current and former chief ministers, anti-terrorist activists, academics, scientists, poets, actors, and more.
