SAPM initiates complaint cell for overseas Pakistanis. According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Jawad Sohrab, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. Officially opened the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation’s (OPF) state-of-the-art 24/7 Complaint Monitoring Cell.
According to the statement, the cell give Pakistanis living abroad a “dedicated platform” to register their complaints from anywhere in the world and ensure that their grievances promptly addressed.
The SAPM briefed on various other welfare initiatives carried out by the OPF in the areas of social services, housing, and education during the visit. The SAPM praised these initiatives for having a significant impact on Pakistanis living abroad.
In order to make it easier for Pakistanis living abroad to voice their concerns, SAPM Sohrab expressed his satisfaction with the cell’s creation and the incorporation of contemporary communication channels.
He emphasized that the vision of the caretaker prime minister to ensure the welfare of Pakistanis living abroad vigorously pursued, with real, actionable steps taken to make their experience fruitful and fulfilling.
He emphasized that the overseas Pakistanis given top priority by the current interim administration.

According to the press release, the government intends to offer practical solutions through initiatives like the creation of these cells.
The addition of two WhatsApp numbers (+92 301 9872195 & +92 306 0329901) as well as a dedicated Universal Access Number (UAN) +92 51 111 040 040 is a key component of the cell. Additionally, the system now includes a user-friendly web portal (https://opf.pitb.gov.pk).
