The Accountability Court of Lahore declared Moonis Elahi, the son of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, as an accomplice in the case of receiving kickbacks worth billions of rupees in development projects.
Accountability Court Judge Naseem Ahmad Work took action on NAB’s request.
The court also sought the records of Mons Elahi’s properties and started the process of confiscating the properties.

In the petition filed by NAB, the position has been adopted that Monis Elahi was not arrested, nor did he join the investigation.
In the petition, it is requested that the court order to declare Mons Elahi as an absconder.
