He revealed in a recent interview that his son-in-law KL Rahul was trolled despite gaining the trust of the people, selectors and captain, and it was not as painful for KL Rahul as it was for me. It hurts me 100 times more.
“When KL Rahul is playing at the ground, I am anxious that it is my child playing and always wish him the best,” he said.
Sunil said that after seeing KL Rahul, I started to sympathize and admire every cricketer.
He also said that I am very delusional when it comes to Indian cricket, I watched all the World Cup matches sitting on the living room floor with my wife.
