Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations has attended the meeting of the ambassadors of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
In this regard, it has been stated in the statement that Pakistan’s Permanent Representative Munir Akram raised the issue of construction of Ram Temple in place of Babri Masjid in the Indian city of Ayodhya.
According to the statement, Munir Akram also presented the contents of the letter written to the UN Alliance for Civilization on the issue.
According to the text of the letter, Pakistan condemns the construction of a Ram temple on the site of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
Munir Akram said that the centuries old Babri Masjid was tragically demolished in 1992, despite the reprehensible act, those responsible were acquitted.
