Years of speculation over the marriage of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and actor Ranbir Kapoor and confusion over the date and place of the wedding for the last several weeks finally came to an end and the two tied the knot on Thursday.
Meanwhile, official photos of Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding also came to light.
Alia shared several photos of the wedding on her Instagram, in which the couple appeared in different poses.
Alia Bhatt, meanwhile, explained the reason for holding the wedding at home. It may be recalled that Ranbir and Alia Bhatt got married today at Ranbir’s residence Vastu in Bandra area of Mumbai.
Only about 30 to 35 close relatives and friends from both sides attended this small and limited wedding ceremony.
Earlier on Wednesday, other wedding ceremonies were held in which first a pooja was performed and then a henna function was held in which close relatives and friends also participated.
From the Kapoor family, the groom’s mother Neto Singh, Radhima Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Reema Jain, Adar Jain, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Navia Naveli Nanda were present while Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt and others were present on behalf of the bride.
Friends included Karan Johar, Ian Mukherjee and Akansha Ranjan attended the marriage.
