Lahore Qalandars Van der Dussen scored the first century of (Pakistan Super League) PSL 9.
Van der Dussen completed his century while playing a brilliant innings against Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Van der Dussen from South Africa crossed this milestone in 50 balls. Dawson’s innings included 6 sixes and 7 fours.
It should be noted that in this match, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars by 8 runs, but Van der Dussen remained unbeaten by playing an innings of 105 runs in PSL 9.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi dominated the bowling attack of Lahore Qalandars after Shaheen Afridi’s batting. Zalmi’s openers Babar Azam and Ayub got off to an aggressive start and put together a vital partnership of 136 runs for the first wicket in just 14.2 overs.
Ayub played a key role in the partnership, while Azam provided constant support. Azam’s innings ended with 48 off 36 balls which included five fours. After his departure, Ayub formed a partnership with Rowman Powell, adding a quick 39 runs before Afridi dismissed Ayub in the 18th over. Ayub emerged as the top scorer for Zalmi with 88 off 55 balls.

Powell then took charge, scoring a blistering 46 off 20 balls with the help of wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris, who remained unbeaten on 12 off five balls. Afridi led the Qalandars’ bowling attack with figures of 3/33, while Jahandad Khan took one wicket.
