Massive rains break 75-year record in Dubai

In Dubai, the massive rains that have been going on since the night have stopped, and drainage is going on from different areas.

Yesterday, massive rains in various states of the United Arab Emirates broke the 75-year record.

Due to torrential rains, Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road had to be closed from various sections, and the traffic jam lasted a few kilometers for several hours.

Water also accumulated in front of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and flight operations at Dubai Airport were stopped for 25 minutes.

According to the foreign news agency, the government has instructed the people to stay at home, and the streets of Dubai have been quieted early in the morning.

Remote learning in schools and office employees have been instructed to work from home on the instructions of the government.

According to media reports, the staff is busy for draining water on the roads, while light rain continues intermittently.

Meanwhile, an Emirati citizen was swept away in the relay in Ras Al Khaimah.
