After the demise of Bilquis Edhi, the widow of Abdul Sattar Edhi, the benefactor of suffering humanity, Mother of Pakistan, now her grand-daughter Dr. Rabia Faisal Edhi will continue the mission of humanity.
Faisal Edhi has shared a photo of himself with his daughter Dr. Rabia Faisal Edhi on his Facebook page.
He shared this photo and wrote, “This is Edhi, there is no one like him, this is a reliable family with a population of 220 million.” He further wrote that “Bilquis Edhi is no longer with us but has been encouraged to continue serving humanity.”
Faisal Edhi wrote that hes grand-daughter Dr. Rabia Faisal Edhi today dressed as her great grandmother reaffirmed her determination to carry on her great mission with all her heart.
He wrote at the end of his post that “Bilquis Edhi, Dr. Rabia Edhi’s form is alive, the torch kept burning, the light kept increasing, the caravan kept moving”.
It is to be noted that Bilquis Edhi, widow of well known social activist Abdul Sattar Edhi, passed away on Friday, April 15. Bilquis Edhi died at the age of 74 in a private hospital in Karachi, where she had been undergoing treatment for a month.
