Maryam Nawaz reached the gold medalist Arshad Nadeem in his village Mian Channu.
The Chief Minister reached the athlete’s house by helicopter and met the athlete and his family. Congratulated the athlete on his historic achievement.

She also gave the player prize money of Rs 10 crore and a car for winning the gold medal.
After the meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz left for Lahore from Mian Channu.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Arshad Nadeem was allotted car registration number PAK 92.97 on the instructions of the Chief Minister, while the gifted vehicle was delivered to Arshad Nadeem’s house.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also felicitated Arshad Nadeem’s coach and teacher Salman Iqbal Butt and gave him a check of Rs 50 lakh.
