The plane made an emergency landing at the Karachi airport after the passenger’s health worsened on the Dhaka flight from Sharjah to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
According to the aviation spokesperson, a 42-year-old Bangladeshi citizen on board the plane died. Air Arabia flight G9512 took off from Sharjah to Dhaka at 1:30 pm local time. One and a half hours after departure, the flight entered Indian airspace. It was said that the health of a passenger on the plane got worse.
The pilot contacted the air traffic controller and requested permission for a medical emergency landing in Karachi and diverted the plane towards Karachi. Made an emergency landing at Karachi Airport.
According to the civil aviation spokesperson, the civil aviation medical team examined the passenger and by that time he had died, after which the dead body was handed over to the airline after regulatory action and necessary appropriate measures.
The flight from Sharjah to Dhaka remained at Karachi Airport for 2 hours, the plane departed from Jinnah Airport Karachi to Dhaka with the deceased at 6:30 am.
