Indian cricket team’s star batsman Virat Kohli crossed another milestone in his illustrious career when he completed 27,000 runs in international cricket on the fourth day of the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur.
Kohli achieved this feat in just 594 innings, breaking the record of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar who crossed the milestone in 623 innings.
Virat Kohli has also become the first player in the world to score 27 thousand runs in less than 600 innings.
