Leading Pakistani actor Usman Khalid Butt has expressed his views on the Lahore court’s decision in the Dua Zahra case.
Usman Khalid Butt said in his tweet that he still did not understand how the Model Town court allowed Dua to stay with her husband without confirming the minimum age.
The actor said that Dua’s parents showed their marriage certificate, Dua’s birth certificate and even his passport in a press conference.
He said the girl was not even 14 years old and the court allowed her to stay with her husband.
It should be noted that Dua Zahra, who went missing from Karachi, said in her video statement that she is very happy with her husband in her house. Please don’t bother me.
In the video message, Dua Zahra said that she married Zaheer Ahmed of her own free will.
In her video message, Dua Zahra had said that my family members used to beat me, they wanted to force me to marry someone else which I did not agree to.
On the other hand, Dua Zahra was presented in the Model Town Court of Lahore under tight security, where she recorded her statement.
The court said in the order that Dua Zahra can go wherever she wants.
