Shoaib Akhtar, the former fast bowler of the Pakistan national cricket team, has confirmed that a film called ‘Rawalpindi Express’ is being made on his life.
Shoaib Akhtar started his career against the West Indies in December 1997, he played 46 Test matches, in which he took a total of 178 wickets.
Shoaib Akhtar took 247 wickets in 163 ODIs and 19 wickets in 15 T20Is.
He also holds the title of the fastest bowler in the world, it is said that his bowling speed was equal to 100 miles per hour.
He remains in the news because of his controversial statements. Shoaib Akhtar is equally popular all over the world, including Pakistan, so now an international film called ‘Rawalpindi Express’ is being made on his life, which will be the first international film on any Pakistani cricketer.
Shoaib Akhtar confirmed in his social media posts that a film called ‘Rawalpindi Express’ is being made on his life, which will also include aspects of his life that have not been revealed till now.
Sharing the motion poster of the film in his social media posts, he said that his film is being produced by Q Film Production and directed by M Faraz Qaiser.
He claimed that the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ will contain the stories and revelations which have remained secret till date.
The cricketer wrote that many people claim to know everything about him but they don’t and now all the secrets will come out in a biopic on his life.
He did not provide any more information about ‘Rawalpindi Express’, but said that the story of the film will revolve around his life.

It is believed that Shoaib Akhtar’s memorable cricket matches will also be shown in the film, due to which the roles of other cricketers will also be included in the film.
The film is likely to depict all the controversies and scandals of Shoaib Akhtar, due to which the film is likely to feature several prominent characters.
It is being speculated that ‘Rawalpindi Express’ will be released by next year and possibly some famous players including Shoaib Akhtar will be shown in real life, but it is too early to say anything in this regard.
