Second Test: Pakistan bowled out for 233 runs

Pakistan team has been bowled out for 233 runs in the first innings of the second Test match against Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka has taken a huge lead of 147 runs in the first innings.

On the third day of the second Test match of the series being played in Galle, Pakistan resumed the first innings incomplete with 191 runs at 7 out. Hassan Ali and Yasir Shah were at the wicket.

The two players put on a 32-run partnership for the eighth wicket, Hasan Ali becoming the wicket of Prabhat Jayasuriya after scoring 21 runs.

It did not take long for Sri Lanka to wrap up Pakistan’s innings after that and the entire team left the pavilion for 233 runs, with Yasir Shah scoring 26 runs.

In this way, Sri Lanka have strengthened their grip on the match by getting a big lead of 147 runs in the first innings.

On behalf of Sri Lanka, Ramesh Mendsen took five wickets while bowling well while Jayasuriya took three wickets.

It may be recalled that Sri Lanka scored 378 runs in the first innings with the help of half-centuries from Ushada Fernando, Dinesh Chandimal and Nirushan Dakwila.

It should be noted that Pakistan won the first Test of the series and took a 0-1 lead in the series.
