PSX Increased 575 Points

The KSE-100 index of the PSX increased 575 points on Thursday, later the return of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Punjab. The market, after a 575-point rise, is presently trading at 40,548.

The KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a strong trend on Thursday after PTI backed Chaudhry Pervaiz Illahi takes oath as Cheif Minister Punjab.

PTI leader Muzammil Aslam tweeted that PTI’s return to power in Punjab has reestablished the market’s trust. The market gone up by 540 points, which only recover as the incumbent government is outset, he added.

On July 21, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed enormous selling pressure, as the benchmark KSE-100 index shed more than 500 points.

The market started its slide soon as the benchmark KSE-100 index jumped 582 points.
