The shooting set of the drama ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’, which is being made by the producers and production houses of Pakistan and Turkey is ready, the pictures and videos of which have been shared. Adnan Siddiqui, one of the producers of the drama shared photos and videos of the set on Instagram.
In the pictures shared by Adnan Siddiqui, he can be seen with Humayun Saeed and Ayesha Omar and in other picture he was wearing a traditional Turkish turban.
Ayesha Omar also shared pictures from the sets of Salahuddin Ayubi, besides she also shared pictures of tourist spots in Turkey.
Dr. Kashif Ansari Films Instagram also shared photos and videos from the sets of the drama. In a video shared by the production house, Senator Faisal Javed Khan said that a 200-acre set has been prepared for the shooting of ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’, in which ancient towns have also been built.
He termed the production of Salahuddin Ayyubi as good for the drama industry of both the countries and expressed hope that it will give a new direction to the Pakistani drama industry.
Apart from them, actress Jawaria Saud also shared several pictures from the set of ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’, in which her children and husband actor Saud can also be seen.
Javeria Saud also shared pictures of her husband and children with Turkish actors.
Although the sets of Salahuddin Ayyubi are ready, there is no immediate statement from the production houses for the shooting of the drama, earlier it was reported that the shooting will start as soon as the sets are ready.
After the sets are ready, the shooting of the drama is likely to start and the first motion poster of Salahuddin Ayyubi is likely to be released in the next few weeks, but it is too early to say anything in this regard.
Regarding this drama, in December 2021, the producer Dr. Kashif Ansari told the British broadcasting organization BBC Asian that after the first stage of the audition of the drama, four Pakistani actors Ayesha Omar, Ushna Shah, Farhan Ali Agha and Adnan Jilani were included in the cast while auditions are under process to cast more actors.
Before him, Adnan Siddiqui also said in an interview in September 2021 that the main role of the warrior Salahuddin Ayyubi will be played by a Turkish actor not by a Pakistani.
He had said that there are four producers of Pakistani origin, including him and actor Humayun Saeed, while the other two producers are Pakistani-American Dr. Kashif Ansari and Junaid Ali Shah.
The actor had said that apart from Pakistan, there are many producers of the said drama from Turkey as well.
In response to a question, Adnan Siddiqui said that only 25% of the cast of the historical drama will be Pakistani, while the first season of the three-season drama will be shot entirely in Turkey.
According to him, the first season of the drama will be shot entirely there and within the next four months Pakistani actors will come Turkey and the said drama will be made as a web series and will have at least 3 seasons, each season will have 34 episodes.
