Pakistan has won its first gold medal in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

Pakistan’s Nooh Dastagir Butt won the gold medal in 109 plus weightlifting.

Pakistan won first gold medal in Commonwealth Games 2022 Nooh Dastagir Butt lifted a total weight of 405 kg and won the gold medal.

Nooh Dastagir lifted 173 kg in snatch and 232 kg in clean and jerk.

Earlier, the first medal for Pakistan was won by Shah Hussain Shah in Judo.

In this way, the number of medals for Pakistan has now increased to 2 in the event.
