ISPR condemns toxic propaganda against Lasbela helicopter crash

Toxic propaganda after the helicopter accident, the military spokesperson says that the negative campaign on social media has hurt the families of the martyrs and there is great anger in the forces.

The entire nation stood with the Pakistan Army in this painful time, the insulting campaign, the callous attitude is highly condemnable.

On the other hand, President Arif Alvi wanted to attend the funeral of the martyrs, but after the propaganda, the institutions stopped him to avoid an unpleasant incident and said that it would be better not to attend the funeral of the martyrs so that no unpleasant incident would happen.

On the other hand, the Army Chief has said that the nature and character of war is changing with time, while the Emirate President and the Saudi Chief of General Staff called General Qamar Javed Bajwa and expressed their condolences on the helicopter accident.

The spokesman of the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR) has said that after the Lasbela helicopter crash, a negative campaign was launched on social media.

On the other hand, sources say that President Dr. Arif Alvi wanted to attend the funerals of Pakistan Army officers and soldiers who were martyred in the helicopter accident in Lasbela, but he did not participate due to the poisonous, false and negative propaganda of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf trolls about the martyrs.

The President of the State had expressed his desire that as the Supreme Commander and the Head of the State, he wanted to attend the funerals of the martyred soldiers, but the institutions informed the President that the PTI trolls were not doing anything related to the martyrs.

Due to the poisonous, false and negative propaganda done, there is a wave of deep grief and anger.

The President was given feedback that it would be better if he did not attend the funerals of the martyrs so that no untoward incident would happen.

On the other hand, speaking in Geo News program ‘Naya Pakistan’, the spokesman of Pakistan Army, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that on August 1st, due to bad weather, a helicopter crashed near Lasbela and since August 1st, we have all been passing through shock, the reason for this statement is that after this tragedy there was false and absurd propaganda on social media, this propaganda and such speculations were very sensitive.

This propaganda caused pain and suffering to the organization and the families of the martyrs, the whole nation stands with the martyrs, the nation cannot be thanked enough, negative propaganda starts on social media, this should not happen, such elements need to be rejected.

Such things on social media fall under the category of negative perception, this behavior is absolutely not acceptable, it should be discouraged at every forum.

Regarding the killing of the head of the international terrorist organization Al-Qaeda in Kabul, the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a very clear statement about the Ayman al-Zawahiri incident, after which there is no question that Pakistan’s land has been used.

On the other hand, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, called the Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa to express grief over the loss of precious lives in the accident.
