Karachi: FIA traced 4 secret accounts of PTI

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Karachi has detected 4 new secret accounts of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Former governor, PTI leader Imran Ismail and Sindh Assembly member Seema Zia have been summoned, notices have been sent to Imran Ismail to appear on August 15 and Seema Zia on August 12.

Earlier, FIA has also summoned former Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser and PTI Punjab leader Mahmood-ul-Rashid.

The Federal Investigation Agency will question and answer the PTI leaders regarding the accounts running in their names.

According to the officials, 6 inquiries are going on simultaneously in Islamabad and other cities of FIA related to the PTI prohibited funding case.

Officials say that 13 accounts have been identified, in which these funds were transferred, notices have been issued to the banks having the accounts.

Courts have ordered these banks to provide complete details.
