Government has appointed Jameel Ahmad as a new Governor State Bank of Pakistan.
According to sources, Jameel Ahmad who was performing the duties of Deputy Governor State.
At that time has been appointed as Governor State Bank for five years.
Jameel Ahmad has more than 30 years of experience in various important positions in State Bank of Pakistan and Saudi Central Bank.
He did his MBA from Punjab University in 1988.
He has been a fellow of ICMA Pakistan since 1994.
Jameel Ahmad as Deputy Governor of State Bank played a key role in digitization of banks, he served as Chairman Implementation Steering Committee.
