Zendaya becomes the youngest black actress to win 2 Emmy Awards

At the 74th American Television Awards (Emmy), actress Zendaya once again wins the lead actress award. She wins this award for her outstanding performance in the 2019 drama ‘Euphoria’.

According to the showbiz website ‘Variety’, Zendaya becomes the first-youngest black actress to win two consecutive Emmy Awards.

Surprisingly, she wins the same i.e. lead actress award two years ago at the age of 24. She wins this her outstanding performance in the same drama ‘Euphoria’. At that time she becomes the youngest actress to win this award.

The Emmy Awards ceremony takes place on September 12, where Zendaya takes home the lead actress award.

The best writer award went to the writer of ‘Succession’, the best comedy actress award went to Joan Smart while the comedy actor award went to Jason Sedex. A total of 25 categories were awarded at the Emmy Awards ceremony.
