Imran Khan reached Lahore on a one-day visit. Previous prime minister and PTI Chairman is busy gathering support for his party’s long march on Islamabad in order to press the alliance government to hold general.
Sources told that throughout his stay in the Punjab capital, Imran will hold meetings with the party office-bearers belonging to Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal and Gujrat divisions and exchange views with them over the strategy marked out to make next phase of the Haqeeqi Azadi movement successful.
Reports in local media sources said the PM scheduled to hold separate meetings with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
A conference on Lahore development projects also given in a meeting to held in the CM House.
Imran was in Peshawar yesterday where he had taken oath from the PTI office-bearers and workers that they would stand firm like a rock throughout the march towards the federal capital come what may.
