Foreign funding case, PTI leaders arrested

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrests Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder member Hamid Zaman and Senator Saifullah Niazi on the issue of foreign funding case.

According to FIA Lahore, Hamid Zaman has been arrested by FIA from his office on Waris Road in Lahore.

FIA sources say that 6 lakh 25 thousand dollars come in the account of Insaf Trust in 2013. Insaf Trust does not meet the rules and regulations.

Hamid Zaman was the secretary of Insaf Trust. It should note that the FIA ​​team yesterday raided house in Karachi to arrests Tariq Shafi, a nominated PTI official and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s front man in the case of illegally transferring funds from abroad to Pakistan.

The FIA ​​team also searched Tariq Shafi’s house with a search warrant on Friday morning (today). Due to the absence of Tariq Shafi, the FIA ​​team went back without arresting him.
