Leading Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq has expressed anger over Bollywood producer Kiran Johar for copying another of his songs in an Indian film.
In his Twitter message, Abrar-ul-Haq denied selling the popular song Nach Punjaban, saying that he had not sold his song rights to any Indian film.
“I reserve the right to go to court for damages if my song is used in an Indian film,” said Abrar-ul-Haq.
The singer said that a producer like Karan Johar should not have copied my song, this is my sixth song being copied, which I will not allow at all.
It is to be noted that the trailer of the movie ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ made under the banner of Dharma Productions has been released, in which the famous song ‘Nach Punjaban’ of Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq has been copied.
