Senior Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik, who put a smile on his face, passed away this morning due to a heart attack at the age of 66.
According to Indian media reports, actor Anupam Kher announced the death of his close friend while tweeting on the social networking website Twitter.
He says that director Satish was at a friend’s residence in New Delhi. When he complained of heart trouble, on which he taken to the hospital where he suffered a heart attack.
Earlier in another tweet, Anupam Kher writes that he shocked to hear about the sudden death of director Satish Kaushik.
He further writes that ‘I know that death is a bitter reality but I never dreamed that I would have to write about my best friend Satish that a 45-year-old friendship suddenly ended. Life will never be the same without you Satish’.
After hearing the news of the sudden death of the actor, many artists of the Bollywood industry saddened and expressed their condolences to the family on the death of Satish Kaushik.
It should remember that Satish Kaushik was an Indian actor, comedian, screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 13 April 1956 in Haryana, he worked in theaters before making his Bollywood debut.
He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Calender in the 1987 super hit Mr. India.
In addition, he won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award for Anil Kapoor’s Ram Lakhan in 1990 and Sajan Chale Sasral in 1997.
Talking about direction, Satish Kaushik has directed Roop Ki Rani Choru Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aap K Dil Mein Rahe Hai and Salman’s hit Tere Naam.
