Aleem Khan group refuses to vote for Pervez Elahi for CM

Lahore: Aleem Khan Group has refused to vote for Pervez Elahi for the post of Chief Minister. It has announced its unconditional support to the opposition. He further said that the titles used by Imran Khan to call Pervez Elahi were not daring to repeat. For the first 4 years, dishonest and useless cowards were kept in power. Now, Pervez Elahi has been nominated. On the other hand, PML-Q leader Pervez Elahi has decided not to resign from the post of Speaker of the Punjab Assembly. According to sources, Speaker Pervez Elahi will not resign given the rapidly changing political situation. He will take the vote of the Chief Minister while holding the post of Speaker Punjab Assembly. According to sources, if he fails to get a vote of confidence from the House, he will continue as Speaker. Under the Constitution, a vote of confidence can be taken while holding the post of Speaker. After the nomination of Pervez Elahi, the ruling party is looking for a candidate for the post of Speaker and there was talk in government circles that Pervez Elahi will resign from the post of Speaker. He later decided not to resign from the speakership.
